Friends of Malawi (FOM) runs a membership drive once a year, in October, but you are welcome to join at any time. The process below will automatically add you to our roster. Please note - people who join in October, November or December will be granted membership for the following year; otherwise, you will be granted membership in the year in which you join. To join FOM, please fill out the membership form below .

FOM, through the work of dedicated volunteers, functions on a very low overhead- 8% in 2004. But the organization does incur expenses as we work to achieve our mission through the small grants program, website, and newsletter. Please help us to cover those expenses through a suggested membership donation of $15 per person per year. Donations can be paid either through personal check, mailed to:

FOM membership dues are only suggested levels because of the wide range of financial circumstances of our members. Individuals who are members of the National Peace Corps Association may have a portion of their NPCA membership dues sent directly to FOM. If you would like to join through the NPCA, please visit their site at www.peacecorpsconnect.org.

FOM has three categories of membership.

(a) Individual Member (no dues)

(b) Supporting Member (annual suggested dues of $15.00 or membership rebate through NPCA) (larger donations welcome)

(c) Life - Any person making a one-time payment of $1,000 or more shall become a supporting member for his/her natural life; no additional payment of membership dues shall be required.
